Guest Riders Welcome

If you are visiting the desert and plan to participate in a club ride, please feel free to show up at the designated time and location. You should be comfortable riding in a group and no aerobars please.

We do encourage membership for those who intend to ride more than three (3) rides during your stay.

Ride Classifications

PACE


"A" At least 20+ avg mph (Red)

Fast pace, riders are working at their limits. Conversation while riding is generally not 

possible or desired.

"B" 17-20 avg mph (Blue)

Riders are generally working hard but not at full capacity. Conversation while riding is occasionally possible.

"C" 12-16 avg mph (Green)

Conversation is possible while riding.

STYLE


Regroup 

Riders are expected to slow or stop at intersections and tops of climbs to wait for stragglers; however, the pace must

be considered by those who choose to participate.

Drop 

Riders will not regroup. Download the route, cue sheet or have a map of the area.

For your safety it is wise to avoid cycling on the following roads:
  • Fred Waring west of Washington
  • Washington between 48th and Country Club
  • Monterey entirely
  • Portola between El Paseo and Magnesia Falls
  • Dinah Shore between Monterey and Bob Hope
  • 111 west of Deep Canyon and East of Jefferson
