Leaving from Palm Desert Civic Park promptly at 6:45am this ride warms up by heading East on Magnesia Falls, cruising down Portola to Frank Sinatra where riders will join mid stream as we turn onto Cook Street and head South towards the mountains and back up Portola where we climb past the living Desert to start our Hot Laps. These laps climb from the Living Desert until hitting Mesa View, turning onto Alamo and then again onto Haystack descending until Portola to run the lap again and again. Generally we do between 4-5 laps before finishing off with a cruise up to the Visitor Center on Hwy 74 (Start of Art Smith Trail). This ride has a quick tempo, that builds up quickly. Try not to get lapped and enjoy! Avg speed 15-19mph (including climbing) Guests always welcome but please no aerobars within the group
