A loosely structured interval ride consisting of several laps around a 3 mile loop off Portola in Palm Desert or La Quinta Cove or a combination of the two followed by a trip up Route 74 to the Art Smith Trailhead and socializing at Bike and Brews, This is a Drop/Regroup ride at what generally ends up being a moderate pace overall but much more difficult than the average suggests due to the nature of the ride. Roughly 45 miles.
